Some 130 chemical companies participate in TUIS, the Transport-Accident-Information- and Emergency-Response System. Since 1982 these enterprises have been making available their experts and company fire brigades to support police, municipal firefighters and other public authorities in accidents involving chemical products.

TUIS companies provide fast and adequate help, with no unnecessary bureaucracy. TUIS is part of the chemical industry's worldwide initiative Responsible Care another proof of our commitment to safety, health and environmental protection.

The brochure provides information with concrete examples from the 3-stage TUIS system (advice over the telephone, advice on the spot, technical assistance).
